The Best Social Media Schedulers With MCP Support (2026)

If you want to schedule and publish social posts from ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or another AI agent, you need a scheduler that has an MCP server. This page compares ten that do: LotsSocial, Postiz, Post Bridge, Zernio, Ocoya, Onlypult, Typefully, FeedHive, Mixpost and Ayrshare. They differ in four ways that matter: how your agent signs in, whether it can connect your social accounts, which networks they cover, and what they cost at your account count.

LotsSocial is built so your agent handles all of it: browser sign-in, a connect link that covers all 12 networks, and plans from $20 for 12 accounts or $2 per account with no subscription. The rest of this page compares all ten, checked against each vendor's own pages on 7 October 2026.

Quick picks

  • You use an AI assistant and want it to connect and run your accounts: LotsSocial.
  • You want the longest network list, or to host it yourself: Postiz (30+ networks, open source) or Mixpost (self-hosted).
  • You're one person marketing a business and want a command-line tool too: Post Bridge.
  • You're a developer who wants to pay per connected account: Zernio.
  • You want AI content and design inside the scheduler: Ocoya.
  • You write first and schedule second, on X and LinkedIn: Typefully.
  • You're building social posting into your own software: Ayrshare.

What to check in a scheduler with MCP

  1. How the agent signs in. OAuth means your agent opens a browser page, you approve, and no key sits in a config file. An API key works for scripts but is something you generate, paste and rotate.
  2. Whether the agent can connect your accounts. Some tools let the agent hand you a link to connect a network. Others need you to connect every account in their app first.
  3. Which networks are covered, including the ones you actually post to.
  4. What it costs at your account count, and whether MCP is included in that plan.
  5. Whether drafts and approvals are in your control, so the agent can't publish something you haven't seen.

"Not stated" means the vendor's MCP documentation doesn't say, which is not the same as "no".

1. LotsSocial

Best for: people who use ChatGPT, Claude or another agent and want it to connect their accounts and run them.

You add one URL, https://api.lots.social/mcp, and sign in through your browser. There's no API key to paste. Ask your agent to connect LinkedIn and it gives you a secure link; you approve on LinkedIn's own page, and the link works for an hour and can connect several accounts at once. It covers all 12 networks: LinkedIn (profile and Page), Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit and Google Business.

LotsSocial checks each post against its account before saving it: caption limits per account, required media for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, and media formats. Drafts never publish.

Pricing has two paths. Plans: Starter is 12 accounts for $20 a month, Pro is 40 for $59 and Business is 150 for $149. Or pay as you go at $2 per connected account per month from credits, charged daily. Posts, media storage, brands, workspaces and team members are unlimited. New accounts get 5,000 free credits, valid for 90 days, with no card.

If you need Discord or Telegram, or want to host it yourself, look at Postiz. LotsSocial is hosted and covers 12 networks.

2. Postiz

Best for: the longest network list, or a scheduler you can self-host.

Postiz supports 30+ platforms, including Discord, Slack and Telegram, and it's open source. Every plan includes the hosted MCP server, the command-line tool, the API and webhooks. Its MCP page describes OAuth sign-in: you add the link, approve in a Postiz page, and no API key is involved (its docs setup page also shows API-key URLs). Official Claude and ChatGPT connectors install in one click, and the custom link adds image and video generation. Agents work only on channels you've already connected in the Postiz app.

Plans are $29 for 5 channels (Standard), $39 for 10, $49 for 30 and $99 for 100, with a 7-day free trial. Standard has no team members; the higher plans do.

3. Post Bridge

Best for: one person marketing a business who also wants a command-line tool.

Post Bridge's MCP server (https://www.post-bridge.com/api/mcp/mcp) signs in with OAuth and has 16 tools. The REST API, CLI and an OpenClaw skill are included on every plan. Its agent guide documents agent-initiated account connection for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. It lists 10 networks.

Marketer is $39 a month for 15 accounts with unlimited posts. Operator is $99 for 99 accounts and adds team members. There's a 7-day free trial.

4. Zernio

Best for: developers who want to pay per connected account and use a wide API through MCP.

Zernio's hosted MCP server (https://mcp.zernio.com/mcp) accepts OAuth or an API key and works with Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and VS Code. About 50 tools are visible by default, and the rest load on demand through search_tools. Its API covers publishing, analytics, comments, messages and ads. Its agents page says the agent can start a platform's OAuth flow and hand you the link, so it can add an account mid-task.

Pricing is per connected account: the first two are free with no card, then $6 each for accounts 3 to 10, $3 each for 11 to 100 and $1 each beyond that. Posts are unlimited. X API costs are passed through at Zernio's listed per-request rates, and messaging and ads are metered separately.

5. Ocoya

Best for: AI content creation and design in the same tool as the scheduler.

Ocoya combines a scheduling dashboard with AI campaigns, a design studio and a social inbox, and its homepage says MCP and the REST API are included. Its MCP server (https://mcp.ocoya.com) signs in with OAuth scoped per brand, has 20+ tools and works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot and others. Its MCP page lists starting new profile connections among the tools.

Plans are $29 a month for 5 profiles and 1 user (Starter), $79 for 20 profiles and 5 users, and $199 for 100 profiles and 20 users, each with a credit allowance for AI features and a 7-day free trial.

6. Onlypult

Best for: an established dashboard scheduler that has added MCP.

Onlypult includes its hosted MCP server and REST API on every plan, including the 7-day trial, which needs no card. MCP signs in with OAuth 2.1 for Claude and ChatGPT and with an API key for other clients. You can set per-tool permissions, for example reads and drafts as "always allow" and publishing and deleting as "needs approval". Its plans cover 5 to 50 social accounts and 2 to 20 team members across 15+ channels.

7. Typefully

Best for: writing first, then scheduling, on X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.

Typefully's hosted MCP server (https://mcp.typefully.com/mcp) signs in with OAuth, with an API key for headless clients. Your agent can create, edit and schedule drafts, read the queue and published posts, upload media, and use tags. Its setup guide notes that Claude connectors need a Claude Pro or Max plan and ChatGPT needs Pro or Plus. It covers five networks, so it's narrower than the general schedulers above.

8. FeedHive

Best for: creators who want a dashboard with AI features and an API-key MCP.

FeedHive supports nine networks: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Business and Threads. Its MCP server (https://mcp.feedhive.com) authenticates with an API key in a bearer header. FeedHive's pricing page lists an OpenClaw skill, Claude Code setup, CLI access and a REST API among its plan features, so check which plan includes the one you need. Plans are €15, €22, €69 and €239 a month billed yearly, for 4, 10, 100 and 500 accounts, with a 7-day free trial.

9. Mixpost

Best for: owning the install and paying once.

Mixpost is open source, and you can self-host it. Pro is a one-time $299 with a year of updates, and includes unlimited social accounts and team members, the REST API, webhooks and MCP. The MCP server runs on your own Mixpost instance and authenticates with a personal access token you generate. It supports 12 platforms, including Pixelfed. Its MCP page says social accounts are set up in Mixpost first, so the agent can't connect them. If you self-host, you run and update the server yourself.

10. Ayrshare

Best for: building social posting into your own software or running client profiles through an API.

Ayrshare is an API for apps, SaaS platforms and agencies, with 14+ networks including Snapchat and WhatsApp (beta). Its MCP server (https://api.ayrshare.com/mcp) authenticates with an API key sent as a header. Ayrshare's documentation says personal connectors in Claude Desktop, claude.ai and Claude mobile can't authenticate with it, while Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and n8n can. The MCP includes a tool that generates a social-linking URL for a profile; profiles and sub-profiles need a Business plan.

Pricing is per profile, where a profile is one customer, brand or location with any number of networks: $149 a month for 1 profile, $299 for up to 10 and $599 for 30. The Launch plan has a 28-day free trial with no card.

How to choose

  • You work in ChatGPT or Claude's app and want setup to stay in the chat: pick a tool with OAuth sign-in and an agent-side connect link. LotsSocial covers all 12 networks that way; Zernio and Ocoya document it too, and Post Bridge does for three networks.
  • You have 12 to 40 accounts, or a team: LotsSocial's plans keep team members unlimited and extra accounts at your plan's rate.
  • You need 30+ networks, or self-hosting: Postiz or Mixpost.
  • You're a developer building a product: Zernio or Ayrshare.
  • Your work is writing for X and LinkedIn: Typefully.

Common questions

What is MCP support in a social media scheduler?

It means the scheduler runs an MCP server your AI agent can connect to, so the agent can list your accounts, save drafts, schedule posts and read results by calling the scheduler's tools. You still choose what it posts.

Which of these tools let my agent connect my social accounts?

LotsSocial does for all 12 networks. Zernio, Ocoya and Ayrshare document agent-initiated connection too (Ayrshare for profiles, on Business plans), and Post Bridge documents it for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Postiz and Mixpost say accounts must be connected in their apps first. For Onlypult, Typefully and FeedHive, the MCP documentation doesn't say.

Which tools sign in with OAuth, and which need an API key?

LotsSocial, Postiz, Post Bridge, Zernio, Ocoya, Onlypult and Typefully offer OAuth sign-in for their MCP servers. FeedHive and Ayrshare use an API key header, and Mixpost uses a personal access token on your own server.

Can I try these without a card?

LotsSocial gives 5,000 free credits for 90 days with no card. Zernio's first two accounts are free with no card, Onlypult has a 7-day trial with no card, and Ayrshare's Launch plan has a 28-day trial with no card. Postiz, Post Bridge, Ocoya and FeedHive each list a 7-day free trial.
