Post Bridge Alternatives for People Who Use an AI Agent

If you use ChatGPT, Claude or another AI agent and want it to run your social accounts, the closest Post Bridge alternatives are LotsSocial, Zernio, Postiz, Buffer and Socialync. Developers who'd rather pay by post volume should look at Outstand, Upload-Post or bundle.social. What separates them is who connects the accounts, what 5 or 12 accounts cost, and whether your team needs a bigger plan.

Post Bridge is a good tool. It signs in with OAuth from the Claude and ChatGPT directories, has 16 MCP tools, a REST API, a CLI and agent skills on every plan, and its agent can connect accounts on 9 of its 10 networks. I checked it and every alternative below on their own pages on 17 October 2026.

Monthly prices at list rates, checked on 17 October 2026. Zernio adds X API charges at X's rates; Socialync includes one X account and charges $10 a month for each extra one. Upload-Post counts profiles (one account per network each), not accounts, and its monthly-billed price isn't shown on the page, so the yearly rate is listed.

Why people look beyond Post Bridge

Post Bridge says plainly who it's for: "one person marketing a business". That focus shows in four places:

  • A flat $39 floor. Marketer is $39 a month whether you connect 3 accounts or 15. Past 15 you move to Operator at $99 for 99 accounts, then $1 each.
  • Team members start at $99. Invites come with Operator. On Marketer it's you and your agent.
  • 10 networks. X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Bluesky, Threads, Pinterest and Google Business. No Mastodon or Reddit.
  • Agent connection stops at 9. Its request_connect_link tool covers every network except Google Business, which you connect in the dashboard.

If none of that matters to you, Post Bridge is a fair pick. If one does, here's what fixes it. I compared Post Bridge and LotsSocial in detail in LotsSocial vs Post Bridge.

1. LotsSocial

Fits: people who use ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI or Muse and want that agent to run their social accounts, alone or with a team.

LotsSocial connects your social accounts to ChatGPT, Claude, Muse or any compatible AI agent to schedule and publish posts across 12 networks, handle each platform's requirements, and track how your posts perform. You add one URL, https://api.lots.social/mcp, and sign in through your browser. No key to paste.

  • Your agent connects every network. Ask it to add LinkedIn and it gives you a secure link. You approve on LinkedIn's own page, and the agent confirms the account. The link lasts an hour, can connect several accounts, and covers all 12 networks, including a LinkedIn Page, Mastodon, Reddit and Google Business. For agency clients there's a client link that lasts up to 7 days and needs no LotsSocial login. More in how to connect your social accounts to your AI agent.
  • Draft, schedule or publish now. Your agent saves drafts, schedules for a time, or publishes right away after you confirm the text and accounts. Every scheduled or published post runs the same network checks first: caption limits per account (free X is 280 characters, Premium X 25,000), required media for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, and formats. validate_social_post runs those checks without saving anything.
  • Costs less than Post Bridge at 5 and 12 accounts. Five accounts are $10 a month on pay as you go ($2 per connected account, no subscription). Twelve are $20 on Starter. Pro covers 40 accounts for $59 and Business 150 for $149, with two months free yearly. Extra accounts on a plan cost your plan's rate.
  • Your whole team, on every plan. Team members, posts, media storage, brands and workspaces are unlimited, whether you're on a plan or paying as you go.
  • A full dashboard too. Composer, calendar, bulk schedule, media library, analytics and brands are all in the app. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

New accounts get 5,000 free credits, valid 90 days, no card. That covers two accounts for about a month. Pro and Business plans include LotsNotes Pro. See pricing.

Choose it if you want your agent to handle the whole job, including adding accounts on every network, and you don't want to pay $39 for a handful of accounts or $99 to invite a teammate.

2. Zernio

Fits: developers and agents that need breadth: social, ads, messaging and blogs behind one API.

Zernio's hosted MCP server signs in with OAuth 2.1 (or an API key for headless setups) and exposes 496 tools, about 50 visible by default and the rest found through search_tools. Its agents page says the agent can start a platform's OAuth flow and hand you the link, and publishing works on all 17 platforms. Pricing is per connected account: the first 2 are free with no card, then $6 each for accounts 3 to 10, $3 for 11 to 100 and $1 beyond. Five accounts come to $18 a month and 12 to $54, before X API usage, which Zernio passes through at X's rates. There's no plan and no seat pricing. More in Zernio alternatives.

3. Postiz

Fits: the longest network list, or a scheduler you can self-host.

Postiz supports 30+ destinations, including Mastodon, Reddit, Discord, Telegram and WordPress, and every cloud plan includes its MCP server, CLI and API. Its MCP signs in with OAuth through one link (mcp.postiz.com/mcp-oauth-dynamic), or an API key. Your agent works on channels you've already connected: Postiz's docs say its agent can't connect a channel for you. Standard is $29 a month for 5 channels with no team members, Team is $39 for 10 with unlimited members, Pro is $49 for 30 and Ultimate $99 for 100. The 7-day trial needs a card. More in LotsSocial vs Postiz.

4. Buffer

Fits: people who want an established scheduler and are happy to connect channels by hand.

Buffer runs a hosted MCP server at mcp.buffer.com/mcp on every plan, including Free, with OAuth for Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor or an API key elsewhere. Its create_post tool schedules or publishes on one channel per call across 11 networks plus Start Page. There's no tool to add a channel, so you connect them in Buffer. Free covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each. Essentials is $6 per channel for channels 1 to 10 and $4 for 11 to 25, so 5 channels cost $30 and 12 cost $68, for 1 user. Team, with unlimited members and approvals, is $12 per channel for the first 10. More in LotsSocial vs Buffer.

5. Socialync

Fits: video creators on the big short-video networks who want an approval step in chat.

Socialync's hosted MCP server (mcp.socialync.io/mcp) is in Claude's connector directory and signs in with OAuth 2.1, or an API key for headless clients. Its 22 tools draft, schedule, publish and read analytics; publishing tools wait for your yes in chat, and AI-created posts are capped at 10 a day per brand on paid plans. Accounts are connected in Socialync, not by the agent. Starter is $20 a month for 5 accounts, then $2 each for accounts 6 to 25, so 12 accounts cost $34. One X account is included and each extra is $10 a month, the first seat is free and each extra collaborator is $10. It covers 9 networks, and a free plan gives 5 posts a month with MCP access.

6. Outstand

Fits: developers who want unlimited accounts and seats and pay by post volume.

Outstand is a social publishing API with a 28-tool MCP server. You sign in with one-click OAuth or an API key, and the agent can connect new platforms. Pay as you go is $19 a month with 3,000 posts, then $0.007 per post up to 10,000 and $0.005 above. Connected accounts and team members are unlimited and free. Of its 12 networks, X, Google Business Profile, Vimeo and Reddit need your own developer credentials.

7. Upload-Post

Fits: video-heavy creators and automation builders who post to many destinations from n8n, Make or code.

Upload-Post publishes to 22 platforms through an API, Python and JS SDKs, agent skills and an MCP server at mcp.upload-post.com/mcp, which takes OAuth or an API key. Its setup guides have you connect your social accounts in the Upload-Post dashboard first. Pricing counts profiles, where a profile is one person or client with one account per network. Free gives 10 uploads a month and 2 profiles. Basic is $16 a month billed yearly ($192) for unlimited uploads, 5 profiles and 1 seat; Professional adds 25 profiles and 2 seats at $33 a month billed yearly. Links in X posts are a $19 a month add-on.

8. bundle.social

Fits: developers building a product or agent harness on a typed SDK.

bundle.social's MCP server runs on your machine (npx bundlesocial-mcp) with an API key; a hosted server is on its roadmap. Its tools cover posts, comments, imports, media, analytics and connect_integration, which returns an OAuth link so the agent can add accounts. Pricing is per organization: Free has 3 social sets (each up to one account per network) and 20 posts a month, Pro is $100 a month with 10,000 posts and unlimited accounts. X usage is billed from a prepaid balance. Because it runs locally, it suits Claude Code or Cursor more than the chat apps.

Try LotsSocial from your agent

Pick your agent's guide at lots.social/agents, or give your agent this:

Read https://lots.social/skill.md and connect LotsSocial. Then give me a connect link for my LinkedIn, Instagram and X accounts, list them back to me, and draft a post for each one so I can check it before you schedule anything.

Your agent uses get_connect_link, list_connected_accounts, validate_social_post and create_social_post for that, and nothing goes out until you say so. New accounts start with 5,000 free credits, no card.
